About You:
Shortly after graduation from high school, my career started out tailoring men's clothing. During my senior year I had won a sewing machine from Montgomery Wards which lead me to sewing things for my home. Later, I went into the banking industry and worked for Nevada State Bank as a teller and then with the legal dept. Five years past by and our family started so I became a stay at home mom for 19 years as well as sewing for a factory from home. I decided to go to UMKC and CMSU after relocating from Seattle to Lee's Summit Missouri. I earned an Elementary teaching degree. Currently I have been interested in teaching underprivileged abused children who are living in the inner city of Kansas City. They are where my heart is.
We lived in Las Vegas for 10 years after graduating and then moved around the United States with my husbands job which took us to Arlington,Texas; Sandy, Utah; Puyallup, Washington; and currently Lee's Summit, Missouri. Some of my favorite places we have traveled to are; Hawaii, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Tennessee, Washington, Mexico, Canada and Costa Rica. My hobbies and interests include building stuff with wood, gardening, sewing, hiking, listening to live music, and my current favorite is painting with watercolors. Dave and I have been married 40 yrs. and counting. We are grateful to get to have all of our 4 children, and 8 grandchildren live locally. Getting together with family is our most favorite pastime.
