About You:
I have been a full time mom to 6 kids, but now that my children are all grown, I stay busy being a grandma to 16 granchildren. I enjoy cleaning houses (especially bathrooms, crazy, I know), so I have a small business doing that part time. I love to cook and bake too. I have been known to cook and bake for hundreds of people at a time. :)
I am a breast cancer survivor from 2008, and am very blessed to have God and modern medicine help to save my life. Surgery, chemo and radiation ended up all being a blessing to me, and I have changed my life for the better because of my experiences. I spend a lot of time with cancer support groups, and I enjoy that. I also work with Addiction recovery support groups once a week. I have had loved ones in my life suffer with addiction and have come to realize that we all are addicted to something, but some are most definitely more dangerous than others. We can all use the principles in the 12 steps to better our lives. I have a strong conviction of the fact that Jesus Christ lives today, and there is a plan, a divine plan for all of us here on earth. Christ's atonement makes all the difference in our lives everyday, if we will allow it to.
I love people and am grateful for the connections we are all able to make with the media we have today. Who would have ever guessed, huh?
