Carol Elliott

CAROL ELLIOTT, pianist, vocalist, entertainer, was born Dec. 24, 1956, in Las Vegas. Carol was the daughter of Amos A. and Jeannette Elliott. She passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, in Kirkland, Wash. She is survived by her mother; her sisters; and many relatives. Growing up in Las Vegas, she demonstrated exceptional scholastic and musical abilities, playing organ for church at age 11. Carol majored in music at UNLV and embarked on a career as a musician in the entertainment world of Las Vegas. Some of the highlights of Carol's career included Patsy Cline in "Legends in Concert" and musical direction of a major show at the Flamingo Hotel. She was a favorite lounge pianist and singer in casinos and hotels, including on cruise ships on the Caribbean, as well as two invitational appearances at a hotel in Matsumoto, Japan. Carol went to the Puget Sound region in 1994. Services were held at Bauer Funeral Chapel in Snohomish, Wash. She will be remembered by her beautiful smile and will be greatly missed.
