BRUCE LAWRENCE WALLANDER, of Las Vegas, passed away from cancer March 26, 2015. He was born in Phoenix. Bruce traveled the world as an Air Force brat before settling in Las Vegas. He graduated from Clark High School in 1976. He worked in the hotel/casino industry and his jobs included being a cook, painter and porter. He enjoyed music, reading, camping, hiking, riding his trike and surfing. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Nancy Wallander. Bruce is survived by his wife, Sonia; son, Leif (Kelli), and their son, Brayden; sisters, Jean Abbott (Russell) and Karen Bossert (Courtney); nieces, Melissa Dyer and Shelby Peralta (Bryan); aunt, MaryLeta Lyles; and cousins, Gene, Carol and Elmer, and David Sartuche.
