CHRISTINE LERZ, 55, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 6, 2010. She was born July 14, 1955, in Waterbury, Conn. Christine was one of four children raised in Las Vegas, where she was a 45-year resident. After graduating from Clark High School, she worked many years for her family-owned business, where she was involved in every aspect of the tour and travel industry. Her career, led to her extended family at Around The World Travel and Alarmco. After many years of hard work and dedication, she was promoted to vice president. Anyone who knew Chrissy, knew of her generous and caring heart, and would do anything for a family member or friend. Her joy of life was contagious, along with her ability to put a smile on your face. Christine was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Lerz Jr.; mother, Kathryn Lerz; and brother, Joseph Lerz III. Christine is survived by her brothers, Harold Lerz (Luche) and Michael Lerz; sister-in-law, Claire Lerz; cousin/sister, Dana Lerz Nishley; cousin, Christine Dahlgren and family; nephews, Harold Lerz Jr. and Jason Lerz; nieces, Desirai Ramirez and Kathryn Lerz; along with all of their family members, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins in Connecticut; and, of course, her cat, Tiger. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.
