THOMAS DOPICO, 51, a hydraulic technician, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008. He was born Dec. 11, 1956, in Pittsburgh, and was a 47-year resident of Nevada. Thomas graduated from Clark High School in 1975, earned an AA degree in business from CCSN in 1980, and attended hydraulics school earning his Paul Munroe hydraulics certification in 1985. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Dopico; and his nephew, Patrick McClelland. Thomas is survived by his mother, June Fay; his sisters, Linda Leavitt, Sherry McClelland, Tawney Block and Patty Linson; nieces, Libert Leavitt-Roberson and Sarah Linson; and his nephews, Sean McClelland, Chase Leavitt and Austin Linson. There will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Community Church UCC, 360 E. Horizon Drive in Henderson.
