Beverly Nichols (Colwell) VIEW PROFILE

BEVERLY JEAN NICHOLS-COLWELL, 57 years of age and resident of Aberdeen, WA and formerly of Las Vegas, NV, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, losing her courageous battle against cancer.

Beverly was born in Duluth, MN to Sheila Nichols, raised in Las Vegas by her mother and step-father Robert “Bob” Gallop. She graduated from Clark High School in 1975 and for many years worked as a cocktail waitress and bartender in Las Vegas. She married Dean Colwell in 2009 and they moved to Washington in 2011 where she resided until her death. Bev was known among friends as a kind and giving person who truly lived life to the fullest with an abundance of joy and laughter. She was a wonderful woman and friend, she will be dearly missed.

Beverly is survived by her husband Dean and step-sons Dylan (Aberdeen) and Waylon Colwell (Michelle) of Las Vegas, much loved granddaughter Alyssa, brother, Father Aquinas, of the Catholic Diocese in Des Moines, IA, and cousin Mitzi Zigich (Michael) of Duluth, MN. She was preceded in death by her mother Sheila, step-father Bob Gallop, sister Kathy Nichols and brother Fred Nichols.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Coleman Mortuary of Hoquiam, WA, and in keeping with Bev’s expressed wishes her ashes will be inurned with her mother in Las Vegas, NV. Beverly will live in our hearts forever.
